A newly constructed trophy home in California’s upscale Calabasas neighborhood, an enclave that the Kardashian and Jackson families call home, debuted on the market Thursday for $37.9 million.
Its eight-figure price tag has propelled it straight to the top of the market, where it stands as the most expensive property that's available to buy in the neighborhood currently, according to listing records.
The contemporary spread, within the exclusive gated community of The Estates at The Oaks, has been designed by Mike Palumbo and built with “the finest opulent finishes and bespoke furnishings,” according to listing agent Tomer Fridman of Compass, who shares the listing with his colleague and mother, Isidora Fridman.
Spanning roughly 22,000 square feet, oversized windows adorn the walls of the home, as do statement wooden feature walls found throughout, from the bedroom to the billiard room.
An elevator connects the mansion’s three levels, which are home to eight bedrooms, 14 bathrooms and staff quarters.
